I primarily throw my work on the potter’s wheel and then alter them to echo the organic forms in nature and the human figure. I glaze my work with multiple glazes which I mix from raw materials. For the interior, I use a glossy liner glaze that is easy to clean and contrasts with the exterior. On the exterior, I like to use satin glazes that form micro-crystals in the cooling process, as well as ash glazes that run down the surface. I fire my pottery to cone 6 in an oxidation atmosphere.
I design my work to be functional as well as aesthetically pleasing, so that it can be enjoyed through everyday use and be dishwasher and microwave safe.
Each piece is one-of-a-kind and will be marked out-of-stock once it is sold. However, I make a lot of similar pieces and might have something similar in stock.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
I try to photograph my work as truthfully as possible and list only my favorite pieces. Even so, nothing quite takes the place of holding a piece of pottery in person. If you are not satisfied with the piece you receive, it can be exchanged or returned within 10 days.
If there is a problem with your order please contact me so that I can make it right.
Shipping is via USPS. Usually, I ship within a day or two of purchase. If I happen to be out of town it could be as long as a week or so until it goes out. I will email you if there will be a shipping delay of more than a couple of days.
